# What is everydeck

> everydeck is a real backend for everything in the app you built with an AI coding agent: see, edit and fix it from one place, like a Shopify admin for your app. Your agent sets it up.

You built an app with an AI coding agent, like Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or Lovable. Now people use it. You want to know what they do, what breaks, and how to fix it, without building your own admin panel.

That is what everydeck is for.

## What you get

everydeck is a real backend for everything in your app, like the admin of a Shopify store, but for the app you built. Your agent sets it up. After the setup you open [app.everydeck.ai](https://app.everydeck.ai) and you can:

* **See what people do, live.** Visits, sign-ins, the main actions of your app, as they happen. See [Live](https://docs.everydeck.ai/using/live.md).
* **Fix what breaks.** Errors are grouped into cases, with who was hit and the way there. One click copies a fix for your coding agent. See [Cases and repairs](https://docs.everydeck.ai/using/cases-and-repairs.md).
* **Know who uses your app.** A page for each person, with what they did and what went wrong for them. See [People](https://docs.everydeck.ai/using/people.md).
* **See and edit everything in your app.** Orders, listings, bookings, users: open any record, change it or delete it, and undo a change. Send a sign-in link, suspend someone, restore them. You decide once what everydeck may change. See [Your app's data](https://docs.everydeck.ai/using/your-data.md) and [Changing data](https://docs.everydeck.ai/using/changing-data.md).
* **Security advice.** What Supabase's Security Advisor reports about your database, in plain words. See [Security](https://docs.everydeck.ai/using/security.md).
* **Emails when it matters.** A bundled email for new cases, an email when a fixed error comes back, and an email when everydeck stops something for your app. See [Emails and notifications](https://docs.everydeck.ai/using/emails-and-notifications.md).
* **Your limits, in the open.** Every limit you can reach, with its value and what happens. See [Limits and plans](https://docs.everydeck.ai/reference/limits-and-plans.md).

## How it gets into your app

You do not install everydeck yourself. Your coding agent does it.

**1. Connect your coding agent**

You add everydeck to your AI tool once. Your tool talks to everydeck over MCP, a standard way for AI tools to use other services.

**2. Paste one sentence**

You paste one sentence into your AI tool. Your agent reads your app and writes down what it found.

**3. Approve once**

You look at what everydeck will see and do, and click **Approve**.

**4. Your agent does the rest**

Your agent adds everydeck to your code and opens a pull request. You merge it.

Start with the [Quickstart](https://docs.everydeck.ai/quickstart.md).

## What everydeck does not do

* everydeck never writes code in your app by itself. Your coding agent writes the code, and you merge it.
* everydeck never creates an account in your app and never signs in there.
* everydeck never stores messages, passwords, card numbers or the values from the `.env` files of your app.
* everydeck never deploys your app. You stay in charge of what goes live.
