# Needs you

> Needs you lists the cases and decisions that need a person. Learn when an error becomes a task, how the list is sorted and how to clear it.

**Needs you** is your to-do list in everydeck. It is on the overview of each app, and the **Your apps** page counts it across all apps.

## What appears here

* **Cases that need action.** Errors, outages, missed expectations, data loss, security errors and more. See [Cases and repairs](https://docs.everydeck.ai/using/cases-and-repairs.md).
* **Security:** only points of level Error from Supabase's Security Advisor, together as one case. See [Security](https://docs.everydeck.ai/using/security.md).
* **New permissions for the change door:** when everydeck can do more than you allowed, it asks here with **Allow** and **Not now**. See [Changing data](https://docs.everydeck.ai/using/changing-data.md#new-permissions).

## When an error becomes a task

A new error is first **Open · watched**. It shows only on the Errors page, with no task and no email. The case page says: "everydeck is watching this: it touches no flow with business consequences and few people so far. It becomes a task on Needs you when it affects 5 people or grows."

It becomes a task on Needs you, with an email, as soon as one of these is true:

* it hits a flow with business consequences (for example a failed request in a flow that has a result step),
* it affects 5 people,
* it has 10 events in 24 hours.

Once a task, it stays a task. All other kinds of cases become a task right away.

## Order

Needs you is sorted by severity, then by the latest event.

| Severity | Kinds |
| - | - |
| Critical | Errors, outages, moderation, data loss, security |
| Warning | Missed expectations, monitoring gaps, due dates, implausible values |
| Note | Data gaps |

## Clearing it

On each case you can **Mark as fixed**, **Ignore**, or copy a fix for your coding agent. Each action shows a short message with **Undo**. See [Cases and repairs](https://docs.everydeck.ai/using/cases-and-repairs.md#what-you-can-do).

When nothing needs you, the card turns into a green area with what everydeck checked and the last case it repaired.
