The rows
For each app, choose Everything, Only urgent (only “When something breaks” and the emails that are always on) or Off (only the emails that are always on).
Emails you asked for yourself, like an invitation, a finished export or a deletion confirmation, belong to no row.
Case emails
There is no email per event. New cases are bundled and sent once the oldest change is 2 minutes old or 5 changes come together. An open problem is not repeated. The subject names the app, the environment and a short title, never personal data. A new error that is only watched sends no email. It sends one when it becomes a task on Needs you. See Needs you.Fixed and Came back
There is no separate email when a case is fixed. The case page shows Fixed right away. If the same error happens again in the reported or a later version, the case opens again as Came back and you get an email (row Came back after a fix). See Cases and repairs.Urgent alerts
If a large part of your data disappears at once, everydeck sends an urgent alert right away: “Urgent: Listings in Acme dropped from 1,200 to 300”. It always comes, even if you turned other emails off. When everydeck stops for your app
If everydeck stops accepting, reading, checking or delivering for your app, everyone who can set up the app gets an email: what happened, since when, what it means, what you can do, and when it works again by itself. These emails always arrive: “without them your app could go unwatched without you knowing.” You get one email per cause, and a new one only after it ended and started again. While it lasts, the overview shows a banner. Causes are:- 80 % and 100 % of the monthly event limit, and when everydeck stops accepting events,
- the read bridge fails for 1 hour,
- processing of your events is stuck for 10 minutes (your events are kept, nothing is lost),
- page load times or source maps reach their limit,
- a repair waits for your coding agent for 1 day,
- one part of your app goes silent while the rest still sends,
- GitHub suspends everydeck’s access,
- your own agent key: 7 days before it expires and when it expired, only to you.
Works again
Whoever got a warning also gets one email when it is over: what works again, and from when to when it stood. For example “everydeck processes new events again”. This is the row Works again. You can turn it off, everywhere or per app, from the link in the email. The warning itself stays on. There is no “works again” email when the state is not really over, when another cause takes over, or when you fixed it yourself. The weekly report
Every Monday at 8:00 in your time zone, one email per app, for Owners and Admins. What is in it and how the week is counted is on Weekly email.Your coding agent
In the bundled email, when your agent picks up a repair or reports one.Setup isn’t finished
One email per person and app, 48 hours after your first approval, only if a part is still open. It lists up to three parts per group, with a button Finish setup.Unsubscribe
Every email you can turn off has a link at the bottom: “Unsubscribe from … emails for Acme”. It turns off exactly this row for exactly this app, and nothing else. The page confirms and offers Undo. Gmail, Yahoo and Apple Mail also show their own unsubscribe button. You do not need to sign in for this.Who gets what
Access per app filters this further: you only get emails about apps you can see.
